Robogames is the “World’s Largest Robot Competition” - Guinness Book of Records.

Hope exam studies are going well for all. Instead of studying, your MECC committee has been hard at work to bring you the beginners robot prototype. You can see photos of it here. At this stage we will be having signups in the first week of semester 2, with tutorial sessions starting in either week 2 or 3.

We now also have a video to go with all our photos for the SUMO Bot competition. This video was made by the all powerful El Presidente, programmed more for video editing than for being a sumo. Check it out here.

Just wanting to let everyone know that the SUMO BOT competition will be held in EH4 on Friday 1st May from 1PM-2PM. Bring your sumo along or just come to watch, everyone is welcome. There will be pizza and drinks available. More information can be found on the events page.

Nicola Gough who is a senior mechanical engineer at SKM will be coming down to talk to students about the type of work they do, where you can fit in at SKM and details on how to apply for a position.
